Yes your dependents (husband/with/ spouse or children under 18) can come as part of your Visa. It is advised that they join you following the completion of OSCE training.

The cost for their relocation will need to be covered by you, the average costs are:

  • Visa per dependent - £464
  • Immigration health surcharge per dependent - £1200
  • Flights are variable depending on country of origin and airline.
  • Living costs including accommodation.
  • Public funds are not available to anyone on a skilled worker visa. Funds may be available once indefinite leave to remain status is achieved.

    Once the contract period is over LTC Global will assist you to find a new placement. Terminating a placement before the end of the contract period may incur charges payable by you, unless you have opted into the LTC Global insurance plan.

    Be aware that the exchange platform is also available.

    During the OSCE training you will be provided with accommodation. Once you have been placed withing the desired placement you will need to consider the cost of living.

    City locations can be extremely high and therefore you may wish to consider more affordable locations.

    Every employer in the UK provides in job training for their employees. In order to stay on the NMC register nurses have to provide details of training attended every three years for revalidation. LTC Global provides all necessary support for revalidation during your employment in the UK, you will also be able to achieve any further qualifications by choosing to study at your own time and expense without affecting the employment you are at.

    The majority of interviews will be conducted via Skype, however face-to-face interviews can be arranged when required.

    It can take up to 60 days following the submission of the application.

    You will be required to amend the document by contacting your local civic body or notary attested affidavit can be provided.

    NMS will only accept an academic IELTS certificate and not a general IELTS certificate.

    A IELTS certificate is valid for 2 years.

    NMC accepts IELTS academic certificate that confirms an overall score of 7 in reading, listening and speaking with at least a 6.5 in writing.

    You can achieve these scores in two sittings within six months and no score less than 6.5.

    NMC accepts OET certificate confirming a score for reading, writing, listening and speaking of B or above. This can also be achieved over two sittings with six months. Both times the score should not go below C+ in any of the four modules.

    The type of visa nurses are granted is a tier 2 work visa. This is a skilled job category visa usually granted for a three year period. The Visa expiry corresponds to the COS validity.

    After a nurse receives the NMC professional registration, the salary they are usually entitled to ranges between £23,023 and £29,608. This is based on 37.5 hours per week or approximately 3 shifts per week. Most of the nurses work overtime, the rate of pay for overtime is more than normal pay.
