Recruiting overseas staff

We are working with many overseas candidates to quickly fill your vacant positions.

UK employers wishing to employ overseas workers must have a sponsorship licence issued by the Home Office before they can employ non-UK resident workers. Our expert team of recruitment consultants will guide you through the whole process.

Licence holders will be subject to Home Office audit at any time after the initial application and during the life of the sponsorship licence. The Home Office has powers to downgrade, suspend or revoke your sponsor licence should all the rules and regulations not be applied. As part of our ongoing commitment to our clients we offer a full follow up support service to assist you in maintaining the licence for years to come.

The service we offer is as follows:

We will help arrange your sponsorship license in collaboration with our panel of expert immigration solicitors.

We will source the best candidates from various countries around the globe. If you have a preference of country, then please let us know so we can source the best candidates for you.

We will fully screen each candidate in line with Home Office guidance

We arrange accommodation near to the care home/posting.

We arrange all flights and transfers leaving you to get on with other things.

We arrange full training in our dedicated training centre by our CQC registered manager.

Once placed with yourselves our help does not end there, we provide a full follow up service enable you to be fully compliant with all Home Office regulations.

Detailed below is the full process for obtaining your skilled worker licence right through to placement of the candidate.

Sponsor Licence

Businesses wishing to employ anyone from outside the United Kingdom require a Sponsorship Licence to enable them to employ any skilled workers under the Skilled worker visa route (This replaces the old Tier 2 application). We will help you obtain your sponsorship licence and upon signing we will facilitate your application to our panel solicitors who will then make direct contact with you in order to commence the application.

Large Sponsor £1,476

Small Sponsor £536

* Small Sponsor is defined by any two of the following

  • your annual turnover is £10.2 million or less
  • your total assets are worth £5.1 million or less
  • you have 50 employees or fewer

Documents Needed (Any four from the below five)

  • Any regulatory body registration- Care Homes it is Certificate of CQC registration
  • Certificate of Employment liability insurance
  • HMRC PAYE Registration
  • Business Bank Statement
  • Proof of Business Premises, Such as Title or Lease

There is a one off fee to our solicitors of £500 to process the application on your behalf. This also includes our follow up service to enable you to maintain your licence for years to come.

After becoming a Sponsor

The Home Office will send the solicitors the log in to the Sponsor Management System (SMS) by way of email and post separately to ensure security and these will then be forwarded to you. Please, ensure that such log in details is secure with the Level 1 User. At that stage the solicitors may be of further assistance to you regarding maintenance of compliance files for migrant workers you may be sponsoring such licence.

After obtaining the sponsorship licence from the home office our procedure is as follows

If you have preference of country then please let us know, alternatively we will recruit the very best candidates from our panel countries to fit your requirements.

All our candidates are fully screened by us prior sending you their CVs/information for consideration to ensure only the best candidates are sent to you.

After sending you the CVs we would then seek confirmation from you of potential candidates and at that point we can either interview candidates on your behalf or alternatively you can interview directly via any video conferencing platform you wish. We will always be on hand at this point to facilitate the interviews.

Once you have selected the candidates and confirmed your preferred start date. You will then be required to submit a job offer letter to us for onwards transmission to the candidate. At this point we can start the actual process of their visa application.

We offer a full end to send service which includes the following.

  • We will collect the candidate from the airport.
  • We will provide accommodation for the Candidate to Quarantine.
  • We also then help provide accommodation near to the job placement.
  • We make sure all training is completed.
  • We also sort out the DBS for the candidate.
  • We also provide OSCE training when the Candidates are ready.

Our Candidates are fully screened by our expert recruitment consultants.

We hold mock interviews with the candidates only selecting the best candidates for you to interview over your preferred video conferencing platform.

The candidate will then be placed with your organisation on a permanent basis for the duration of their visa, there is no worry that the candidate can leave your employment during time. We also have a mechanism in place whereby in the very unlikely event that you feel the candidate is not suitable then we can make arrangement to replace them with no charge to you.
